Morning train north. Bibliotheca treated as a working library on the water, not as Cairo moved north. 11:10 — under the disc. Small antiquities rooms first. Reading halls a slow circuit, then left. Objects were the pick, not the architecture. Honest hour on the corniche. 16:25 — Abu al-Abbas al-Mursi photographed from the square, not entered. One night. Morning train. Cairo 14:50 on 10 August. Nothing thrown that afternoon. Catacombs stayed off: stairs plus August humidity is leftover yarn.

Library first

Treat the disc as a library that also keeps rooms. Hours: bibalex.org. Salt after vitrines fights cases — pick one looking. Bags follow library instruction. Manuscript light is not plaza light. Catacombs mean stairs and invention; minutes left after a long hall will not cover them. August humidity is already a looking. Noon on the water does not replace the indoor hours. Giza paper is the wrong paper here. Sleeping in the city is how a mosque facade becomes possible to photograph without stealing a pick from the disc.
